My first Diploma was gained at Soundwell Technical College, where I studied for the Intermediate Diploma with the Football Association, this involved work with Human Prosacted Tissue at the University of Bristol. I am also a member of the football Regional Medical Society.

At the University of North London and the University of Guildford I have studied Sports Medicine for Four years with ‘The Society of Sports Therapists’. This involved all skeletal and soft tissue therapy, along with Manual Therapy and Manual Release techniques. In July 2001 I successfully completed the Advanced Spinal Manipulations and Mobilisations course at the University of Birmingham.

During 2009 I am studying at Cardiff to become a Consultant in Manual Therapy, this course should be completed in November 2009.

This year I have achieved International Status, having been selected to work with the ENGLAND RFU 16’s Group, in their Internationals against Canada, France, Wales, Romania, Scotland and Georgia. Working with so many children the Rugby Football Union asked me to attend the Police Headquarters in Portishead, for lectures on Child abuse. This course was successfully completed and I have been passed as a ‘safe person’.

My involvement in rugby has been invaluable to me.
